RecoverFit processes all data entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal or health data on external servers.

1. Overview

RecoverFit ("the App") is a health and fitness application developed by Junsung Park ("we", "us", "our"). The App calculates daily recovery scores using data from Apple HealthKit. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.

2. Data We Access

With your explicit permission, the App reads the following data from Apple HealthKit:

Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
Resting Heart Rate
Sleep Analysis (duration, stages, efficiency)
Active Energy Burned
Workout Data (type, duration, heart rate)
VO2 Max (if available)

3. How Data Is Processed

All data processing occurs entirely on your device:

Recovery scores are calculated locally using on-device algorithms.
AI insights are generated using Apple Foundation Models running on-device.
Historical data is stored locally via SwiftData.
No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

Your health or fitness data
Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
Location data
Device identifiers for tracking purposes
Usage analytics or behavioral data

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following Apple services:

Apple HealthKit: To read health metrics with your permission. HealthKit data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is never shared with us.
StoreKit: To process in-app subscriptions. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple and is not accessible to us.

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

6. Data Storage and Security

All data remains on your device and is protected by iOS security features including:

Device encryption (Data Protection)
App sandboxing
Biometric authentication (if enabled on your device)

If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
